LE16 Communications was established by Jane Smith and Pete Bowman in 2003. We have particular expertise in the public sector, healthcare, financial services, the world of domestic appliances, travel and tourism.
Jane Smith, MCIPR, DipCIM
Jane is an award-winning communications professional with nearly 20 years experience in PR, media relations, strategic, change and employee communications. Before launching LE16, she held senior roles with Thomas Cook, AMP Financial Services, regional building societies and the Black Country Development Corporation.
Her creative approach to PR has continually helped the organisations she’s worked with build their reputation and, importantly, boost their sales.
Jane has also managed a range of strategic communications projects and has been recognised by the British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB) with an Award of Excellence for change communications.
Before jointly setting up LE16 in September 2003, Pete worked as a freelance copywriter involved in the production of a diverse range of promotional material.
Pete now produces copy for newsletters, marketing brochures, technical documents, consumer and corporate websites, and promotional and training films.
Pete has also worked in national and international marketing for the Black Country Development Corporation and Birmingham City Council.
